Wayde McIntosh was born in St. Catherine, Jamaica. He received a BFA from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, MD (2008) and an MFA in Painting from the Yale School of Art, New Haven, CT (2013). He received the Al Held Fellowship at the American Academy in Rome and was on of the 2019 Outwin Boochever Portrait competition winners at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery. His commissioned portraits hang in both private and corporate collections. He currently lives and works in Brooklyn, NY.
